| Terence Needham was an Irish potato famine imigrant who was born in Ireland 1813 and was murdered in St. Catherines, Ontario April 21, 1874, for his money. He was in St Catherines to purchase a hotel in Penetanguishene from the owner, Mr Quinn when he was killed. Terence is buried in the Apto cemetery but his wife Mary (Gannon) Needham is buried in the Phelpston St Patrick's Cemetery without a headstone. Many thanks to Bill Warnica for this information and for letting me know that I had missed photographing this headstone. |
